The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi announced the launch of Thailand’s Electronic Visa (E-Visa) facilities in India, effective January 1, 2025. This announcement was made via the embassy’s official social media account on December 11, 2023, fulfilling a long-awaited travel convenience for Indian citizens.
Alongside the E-Visa announcement, the embassy clarified that Indian passport holders will continue to enjoy a 60-day visa exemption. All E-Visa applications must be submitted through the official visa website, with the option for offline payments available through the Embassy and Consulate Generals.
It’s important to note that visa fees are non-refundable, and processing will take approximately 14 days from the receipt date of the visa fee. This streamlined process aims to facilitate smoother travel to Thailand for Indian nationals.
