Thailand has extended the TM6 immigration form suspension for foreign travelers at 16 checkpoints until April 30, 2025, to streamline procedures and reduce congestion at busy border crossings.
Thailand has announced the extension of its suspension of the TM6 immigration form requirement for foreign travelers at 16 designated land and sea checkpoints, now valid until April 30, 2025. This initiative is aimed at simplifying entry procedures and alleviating congestion for international arrivals.
Originally put in place to streamline traveler processing, the TM6 form was eliminated for air travelers in July 2022. The current suspension is intended to foster a smoother experience for visitors at busy border crossings.
The designated checkpoints cover land routes from provinces like Sa Kaeo and Chiang Rai, as well as maritime entry points in Chon Buri and Phuket. This comprehensive approach enhances Thailand’s efforts in promoting seamless international travel.
