On 1 November 2024, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, and key partners from Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Immigration Bureau, and Thailand Privilege Card, inaugurated the “WOW! Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges” campaign. The initiative, ongoing until 10 December 2024, seeks to enhance the tourist experience at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Greeted warmly, tourists received iconic Thai souvenirs, representing diverse cultural marvels such as Thai cuisine, Muay Thai, textiles, handicrafts, notable tourism sites, and traditional performances.
Exciting Offers and Souvenirs
Ms. Thapanee emphasized the campaign’s goal to boost international tourist spending by offering exclusive shopping opportunities. Special souvenirs are available at designated booths at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket Airports. The campaign includes a “Must Do Package” for the first 10,000 registered tourists and the “WOW Thailand Lucky Number” whereby every 10,000th tourist gains a 35,000 THB package. Participants can also vie for prizes valued at over 300,000 THB, with winners announced on 13 December 2024.

Alongside souvenir distribution at Suvarnabhumi, activities extend to Don Mueang and Phuket airports, ensuring all visitors a warm reception.
