The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the third edition of “The One for Nature” campaign. The new tagline, “Leave No Trace Behind,” aims to encourage responsible travel and bolster the long-term sustainability of Thailand’s tourism industry. The campaign underscores TAT’s commitment to eco-friendly tourism.
Memorable and Sustainable Travel Experiences
Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, highlighted the campaign’s role in creating memorable, sustainable tourism experiences. Activities launched at SOOKSIAM, ICONSIAM on 17-18 August included workshops on recycling and interactive booths. The campaign will tour other key tourist cities like Krabi, Chiang Mai, and Ko Samui through September.
Engage and Win Sustainable Tour Packages
To further raise awareness, TAT invites travelers to participate in an online competition for a chance to win sustainable tour packages in Thailand. Participants can create e-postcards and share them on social media. The competition ends on 15 September, with winners announced on 17 September.
