TAT announces new ‘Monopoly: Bangkok Edition’

Bangkok will become the next destination to have its own Monopoly board game in 2024, featuring the city’s cultural sites, landmarks, and unique stories. Public suggestions for the game are being sought.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the upcoming release of Monopoly: Bangkok Edition, following the success of the Phuket and Chiang Mai editions. The game will feature Bangkok’s cultural sites, landmarks, and businesses, with input being sought from the public for its content. Additionally, a Bangkok edition of the card game Top Trumps will be released.
Local businesses are invited to contribute suggestions for inclusion in the game. The official release is expected towards the end of the year, and the game will be available online. The announcement took place at the iconic King Power Mahanakhon, and more information can be found on the Bangkok Monopoly Facebook page.
Monopoly’s Debut in Bangkok
Bangkok is set to become one of the official Monopoly game destinations in 2024. The Bangkok Edition will feature the city’s cultural sites, historical landmarks, businesses, and attractions, replacing the traditional streets. It will also include unique stories of Bangkok on the Chance and Community Chest cards. Additionally, Winning Moves UK will release a Bangkok edition of Top Trumps, showcasing the city’s top destinations and attractions.
