The Tourism Authority of Thailand premiered a new advertising film at the World Travel Market, with the aim of inspiring travellers to visit Thailand for meaningful experiences and reach their target of 25-30 million arrivals and 1.5 trillion Baht revenue by the end of the year. The film features tourists from different countries and highlights attractions in Kanchanaburi, Chumphon, Nakhon Phanom, and Bangkok.
TAT Premieres “Meaningful Relationship” Advertising Film at WTM 2023
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has unveiled its latest advertising film, titled “Meaningful Relationship,” at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2023. The film aims to encourage travelers from around the world to engage in meaningful connections with various aspects of Thailand, including its people, communities, and nature.
The 3.37-minute long film features characters from Korea, Portugal, and France, speaking their respective languages with English subtitles. The film showcases attractions, landmarks, community-based tourism villages, and accommodations located in Kanchanaburi, Chumphon, Nakhon Phanom, and Bangkok.
TAT’s Broadcast and Social Media Campaign
The “Meaningful Relationship” advertising film will be broadcasted from 6 November 2023 to 31 October 2024 through offline and online media platforms. It will also be shared on TAT’s own social media accounts, including those of the 29 TAT offices worldwide. The film aims to inspire affluent travelers to visit Thailand and contribute to the target of 25-30 million arrivals and 1.5 trillion Baht revenue by the end of this year. TAT plans to achieve a total revenue of 3 trillion Baht, with 1.92 trillion Baht coming from the international market.
Goal to Boost Tourism and Revenue in Thailand
The Tourism Authority of Thailand is hopeful that the “Meaningful Relationship” advertising film will attract tourists and help reach their goals for tourism in the country. The film’s focus on meaningful experiences aims to appeal to travelers seeking authentic connections during their trips.
