TAT and AIS 5G launch ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched a ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign, offering tourists a special SIM card with internet and travel privileges, in partnership with AIS 5G. The campaign runs from October 17, 2023, to March 31, 2024, and aims to boost tourism income.

Introducing the ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ Campaign: Amazing Thailand SIM Card with Travel Privileges

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and AIS 5G have joined forces to launch the ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign. This initiative aims to attract tourists and boost the country’s tourism sector during the upcoming high season. As part of the campaign, visitors will receive a specially-branded ‘Amazing Thailand SIM’ card, offering a one-day trial of 8GB max speed internet and a range of travel privileges. The campaign runs from 17 October 2023 to 31 March 2024.

Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific, highlighted the campaign’s alignment with the Thai government’s efforts to boost tourism income. The campaign also signifies the TAT’s commitment to expanding collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging digital transformation. Thailand has welcomed 20.3 million foreign visitors in 2023, with the majority coming from Asia-Pacific markets. The ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign aims to capitalize on this growth potential by providing convenient communication systems and digital services through the Amazing Thailand SIM card.

Enhancing Tourists’ Experience with AIS 5G
