Chinese automotive parts manufacturer, Hongli Auto Parts (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has signed a land sale agreement with WHA Industrial Development PLC to expand its factory in Thailand. The new factory, located in WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1, will cover an area of over 12,000 square meters and will serve as a production base for automotive parts in Southeast Asia. The factory will produce chassis parts, axels, suspension, and other components for the Thai market and will also export to China on behalf of electric vehicle companies. Construction of the new factory is set to begin in early 2024.
