Mr. Prapan Charoenprawat, Managing Director of the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), revealed that the mai welcomes SEI Medical Public Company Limited to list and start trading on mai under the Consumer Products Industry Group, using the abbreviation “SEI” on September 24, 2024. SEI operates its business as a distributor and service provider of medical equipment. The company sources medical and scientific equipment from 18 leading manufacturers from 11 countries.

The target customers are government hospitals, medical education institutions, private hospitals, clinics, etc. In the first half of 2024, the company had revenue from sales, services, and others in the proportion of 90:10 respectively, of which 79 percent was from sales and services from government customers of total sales and services. The main product groups were: Endoscope product group 52 percent, product group for newborn patients 42 percent, and other product group 6 percent.
SEI has a paid-up capital after the offering of 85 million baht, with a par value of 0.50 baht per share, consisting of 120 million existing common shares and 50 million newly issued common shares, of which 37.50 million shares will be offered to persons at the discretion of the underwriter, 7.50 million shares will be offered to the company’s benefactors, and 5.00 million shares will be offered to directors, executives, and employees on September 16-18, 2024 at a price of 3.10 baht per share, for an IPO offering value of 155 million baht, with a securities value at the IPO price of 527 million baht.
