The SET is seeking comments on the “Revision of Criteria on Disclosure of Securities Holders and Investment Company” to ensure that investors have access to comprehensive information for making informed investment decisions, in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s policy.
1. Revise the criteria for disclosure of securities holders
The names of securities holders shall be disclosed at least 5% of the paid-up capital, but not less than 10 securities holders. Currently, the list of the first 10 major securities holders or securities holders will be disclosed to listed companies, investment trusts, infrastructure funds and property funds.
2. Revise the criteria for listed investment companies as defined by the SEC by implementing stricter and more efficient measures, such as issuing caution (C) and suspension (SP) signs before delisting.
