Miss Grand International pcl, the organizer of the “Miss Grand Thailand” and “Miss Grand International” pageants, will be listed on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) on December 14 under the ticker symbol “MGI”. The company’s market capitalization at its initial public offering (IPO) is THB 1.04 billion (approx. USD 29.80 million), as confirmed by mai President Prapan Charoenprawatt.
MGI’s Core Business and Financial Details
MGI organizes beauty pageants and distributes consumer goods, with 75% of its revenue coming from the commerce business. In the first nine months of 2023, its revenue breakdown was 41% from commerce business, 13% from beauty pageants, 19% from media and entertainment, 23% from artist management, and 4% from other businesses. The company’s paid-up capital after the IPO is THB 105 million, and the proceeds from the fundraising will be used for office building renovation, product development, online program production, information technology development, and working capital.
